REAL girls is starting up again this spring semester for the Second Students at the West Campus of Second Baptist Church. I am super excited about the big 'PLANNING MEETING' (aka: slumber party) with 20+ girls on our High School Leadership Team this next weekend! I can't wait to dream and develop some great ideas with all these amazing girls. Hopefully my little apartment doesnt burst at the seems and my husband doesn't jump out of the 3rd story window:)
This semester REAL girls is going on a journey..a marvleoUS journey:) When a you choose to accept the gift of Christ and put your faith in God, you begin the Christian journey. You don't know what all this journey will entail, it might leave you feeling uncomfortable at times, maybe pull you away from things that you have always known, it may sound bizarre and crazy to the people around you. However, when you begin this Journey your destination is certain, you are well equipped for everything that this journey holds, your Guide will never leave you or forsake you, and this will be one MARVELOUS journey.
Over the semester we will be discussing lots of topics related to the Christian Journey! I can't wait to get to know so many of the girls within our student ministry, to see them grow closer to God and understanding what He has in store for them, and growing personally in my relationship with Him!
